Clients of Bob Kerns benefit from his almost four decades of legal experience and extensive political, civic and charitable involvement and activities.

A native of Conshohocken and graduate of the former Saint Matthew's High School, Bob pursued and received his law degree from Villanova University after receiving a bachelor's degree from La Salle College (now La Salle University).

For the last decade, Bob's practice has focused on municipal law, real estate, zoning matters, commercial land development, condemnation and litigation as well as medical malpractice. Bob currently serves as Solicitor for the Montgomery County townships of Upper Gwynedd and West Norriton as well as the Borough of Trappe. Bob formerly was Chairman of the Montgomery County Board of View and Montgomery County Solicitor.

Bob formerly served as Solicitor of Upper Moreland Township, Lower Providence Township, Norristown School District, Lansdale Zoning Hearing Board, and North Penn Area Regional Waste Management Commission. Bob also served as Montgomery County Solicitor.

Bob donates his time serving as pro bono Counsel to the Chiefs of Police Association of Montgomery County and as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Volunteer Medical Services Corp as well as the Montgomery County Funeral Directors' Association.

Bob's involvement in politics is as extensive as his legal expertise. Bob has served in numerous capacities for hundreds of campaigns for Republican candidates for offices from township supervisor to the United States Senate. Bob is a former municipal leader and member of the Republican State Committee. Bob was elected Chairman of the Montgomery County Republican Committee in 2008 and re-elected in 2010. He also serves on the Leadership Committee of the Republican Party of Pennsylvania.

Admitted to the bars of the United States Supreme Court and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, Bob is a member of the Montgomery County, Pennsylvania and American Bar Associations.

Bob and his wife Carolyn are the parents of sons Shawn, Chris and David.
